The Plaid Affair

Hello there!

Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year guys. I hope the holiday season is treating you well and I really hope its been a great year for you, and by great it doesn’t only have to mean a promotion at work or getting married or other materialistic achievements. By “great” I mean you had a good health, are closer to your friends and family, are doing the things that you love and have your inner peace. For me this year has been very special as I started writing this blog in the middle of the year and also as my sister got married in the beginning of this year. Writing this blog has not just been a job or a work for me but its also a medium to express myself and talk about the things that I love, things that give me peace and happiness. I might not be very frequent with my writings but whenever I do write I have this broad smile on my face and all the negative thoughts are blocked out of my mind, letting only creativity and positiveness float around. In fact for the coming year I will be coming up with more and more articles and also some soul talk. Also why don’t you guys leave a suggestion in the comments box about the things and topics you would want me to talk about and I’ll make sure to respond.

On that positive note, lets move on to the next winter look that I have in store for all you fashion lovers. With the words “winter clothing”, the first thing that comes to my mind is plaid. If I go through my wardrobe, I have a good amount of variety in plaid clothing. Plaid overcoats, jackets, skirts, dresses and so on. Plaid fashion never completely goes out of any winter season. So yes people, for the next few looks I will be using some of my plaids to complete my winter look and drop ideas for you to inculcate plaids into your wardrobe. Scroll down for the next winter look and its details.

Here I have combined an ice grey knit crop-top with basic blue denims and a black-green plaid overcoat. To complete this look I have used high-heel brown color leopard print boots with a pastel sea green handbag. The overpowering color here in green, breaking the monotonous grey, brown winter colors. But I personally love adding shades of brown to my winter looks, so I chose these eye catching leopard print brown stiletto heels. Scroll down for the pictures 😉
